Aunt Bee had no idea that all those men were coming to stay the evening, BUT
HEAVENS ... wasn't that a LOT of food to be stored at any given moment in the
refrigerator ? All that fried chicken and meatloaf ? Just for Andy, Opie and
Aunt Bea .
My apology for the earlier post with all those
I have a car tag frame that says 'I'd rather be watching the Andy Griffith
Show'. While driving across town today I was sitting at a red light in the
left lane and I kept hearing a horn honk. I looked around and the man in
the car next to me signaled for me to put down my car window. I thought he
Wow,
I know this note is going out late but for any of you who will be at
Mayberry Days this weekend, we'll have or usual meet up following the
"World Championship of Mayberry Trivia."
The trivia starts about 4:30pm and we'll meet to say" hey" and get our
yearly photo just after the trivia ends.
Below are a couple of nice stories from a friend back in NC emailed me this
morning. He told me he was going to get a hot dog at Char-Grill and walk down
to Pullen Park to eat lunch by the TV Land statue in memory of Andy. Would have
been nice to join him - I am having a hot dog for lunch in
Was fortunate enough to meet Andy at both statue dedications-(Pullen Park in

Hey Folks,
I know it's short notice but we'll have our second online chapter
meeting at 1:30 PM ET on Saturday 20 Feb 2010.
If you can be there, we'd love to have you and be able to visit with one
another for an hour or so (or however long you can spare to be with us).
Sorry for the late
Mayberry collection. I also
enjoyed the video broadcast after the meeting. I think there were five of us
still on when Allan was showing some videos and special effects.
We definitely need to make this a regular event, and the participation will
grow each time. It was nice learning about
Hello Fellow Mayberrians,
Had a great time at the first ever WBMUTBB online chapter meeting last
night. As Allan, said, who would have ever thought that we would be able to
get together in this fashion. Those electronal marvels are something! It
was great to learn more about our Mayberry
I too forgot about the meeting last night.I guess I'll have to put
sticky notes all over my computer screen to remind me of the next one, which I
hope is real soon, and becomes a regular thing. I remember when Alan
started the chat room, we were on there every night for months
Allen asked for comments from those of us who called in to the Saturday
night meeting. Here's my two cents: I agree that the time just flew by.
I so enjoyed hearing about Allen visiting Howard McNair's house and the
description of the aerosol paint can accident - having his wife get mad
at him
I am sorry I missed the meeting. I had company and it ran late. I think it is
a terrific idea and would love to participate! Using weekend minutes for our
cells is also a very good idea.
By the by, Opie was at the crossroads in Math. He could either improve or
not go to college. Barney

Hi Gang -
The Tuesday night phone test worked great. We had a ball chatting, some of us
on the phone conference and some just in the chat program on the website, or
both. There were around ten of us, give or take, and it proved the technology
worked out great.
I hope a lot of you will

My family and I have met most of TAGS cast in person a few times. What
stands out is my memory is that everyone of them were so NICE ( and a door
