If you had to introduce someone to the Andy Griffith Show, which episode
would you recommend they watch and why?
My answer to that would have to be Man In A Hurry. It think it

Maybe I missed this one being quoted, but how about:
who's been messin' up the bulletin board?
Quick trivia question: Name the town in North Carolina where Any Griffith

I bet they got some mighty fine porches in Walnut Hills. I might just

First, those WBMUTBB T-Shirts turned out real nice. Great job.
Second, I get TAGS in prime time every night-and without commercials. I

Can anybody tell me of any actor--past present---that could have replaced
Don Knotts (Barney)
If you mean an exact replacement, then of course nobody could fill those
shoes. If you're talking about someone filling in the deputy position
where the show would have been just as funny
I maybe look at things a bit differently. You see, four of my closest
childhood friends all died before their 51st birthday. Don Knotts
(wasn't his first name Jesse?) made it to 81 and that's great. I hope I
make it that far. Had he died 30 years ago, we wouldn't have gotten to

Wow! Big news. Ron Howard has cast Mayberry operator, Sarah in his new

Also, in The Shoplifter episode, is Andy legal in opening the old ladies

Glad to see everything is now A-OK in Mayberry. We used to do a lot of
trivia on this board some years back, but this group is too smart to miss

Al Becker, Al Becker... it's okay if you don't know him. On an episode of
the Real McCoys, his name popped up twice. Seems that before moving to
Mayberry, Al was making bookmarks in Smoky Corners, WV. This episode was
written by Fritzell Greenbaum.

I'm glad to hear there's some fans out there of the color seasons.

In an episode of The Real McCoys first aired in November 1959, Howard McNear

I had asked what Mayberry resident had the same name as a popular rock band
at the time. Hard question and a bit tricky. So now, I'll make it a little
easier with a couple of hints:
1. This was the name of a recurring Mayberry character and it was the exact
full name of the band.
2. The

As he was escorted to his jail cell, he shouts out, ANDY, WHERE IS THE KEY

At the beginning of A Date For Gomer in season four, the opening scene
