Color episodes

I agree that the colored episodes were not as good, in large part to the supporting cast. Emmet, Howard, Warren and Goober were not asgood as Gomer, Barney and Floyd. Another factor was Opie was getting older and was not as much the cute little adorable kid that he had once been.

First of all, I want to say that I am (and always will be ) a huge fan of TAGS. My wife I watch the show almost daily and we have gone to the Mayberry Days in Mt Airy and in Westmeinster. I have also enjoyed reading all the posts on this site, but have noticed a gradual change in it lately.

It would seem that a true "alumni" sighting would refer to someone who was a regular on the show who appeared on another show. Let's face it, many of the character actors who appeared on TAGS were on other shows. You could watch old shows every day and likely see someone who appeared on TAGS.
