I have an application (php/mysql) where we are creating
a pdf file from database content, then we would like to
launch the client's email program to send it (so he can
use his address book which already has all his lists set up).
The only way

According to the documentation, Javascript doesn't have associative
arrays. See

for reference.
But then what exactly is
document.forms[myForm].elements[formElement]? I suppose they might

Stephen, Bj, Joseph, Scott, Steven, Cheryl, David: thanks for all your

I've addressed some of the comments directly:

Hi Sheila.
So far, I have been able to mime-encode the file, but it shows up in
the body and not as an attached file (so you are right-on about your
header comment). Size does not seem to be limited to 255 chars when
attached as mailto:?body=$file.
Since I am a real novice in email stuff,

You may forward my comments to your marketing director.
Thanks for the compliments on my usability notes.
I appreciate your keen insight into all the ideas discussed.
I'm sending you a personal email with more details.

Hi,
I'm hoping someone can sort me out here. I want to make a really small
simple way to put a series of images together, but all I've been able to
find is how to include php or html files like in the example here:
?
if($s==home){
include(home.html);
}
elseif($s==about){
include(about.html);
}

I've been asked if I can recommend a software package that will monitor
_all_ the software on a PC network and report the version and licence
number (if any) for each package on each PC on the network. This is for a

Wish I could use your advice, but the client has many email lists in
his current mailsystem that he has to use, and currently the only way
to access them is though his desktop mail client. Unless there is
another way, I will have to use a mailto link to launch it...Our only
working idea so far

I agree with David Blakey, but I would want to be

Mark,
Thanks very much. It is interesting that most of the complaints in the
forum on this are that errors are not showing!
Anyhow, to further my embarrassment, in following your advice I discovered I
had set errors_reporting to 8 in the index.php file - and I can't remember

Hi Peter,
One of the companies I work for is using software called
Audit Wizard www.auditwizard.com to do what you describe below.
It uses a SQL server db to store the information. We have built asp pages to
connect to the db for producing reports.
