Hi all,
Just testing to see if I am actually subscribed to the list, if I can
get mail to it, and/or if it's still alive.
Haven't received anything from the list for quite a while!
If this actually does get through, then hope everyone's well!

You must not be on the CSS list. They average over 50 messages daily it

Hi all,
I have a client that I am really regretting taking on. One of the
reasons is that it is a small organization and the guy who I first spoke
to said that he was getting too busy and from now on I would work with
guy2. Guy2 then said that he was too busy and I would now work with
guy3.

Hi, Honestly, the first viewing of the page made me feel it's a joke; it's
not just the small issue of the menu (you can always make the box without
outline and with transparent background). It's the big problem of the whole
page design. And I don't think anyone here would not say so. Good
I know! The old design was awful and they seem to be steering this
design back to the old design. I don't know if I will even include this
site in my portfolio . . .
I find that without a colored background, the menu items are not legible.

Hi Deb,
Yes. I have fixed that but have not uploaded the new stylesheet yet.
Thanks for pointing it out.
I had a horizontal menu and they nixed (sp?) it and wanted a menu on the
side. I have half a mind to tell them to find someone else to do this.

If I were you I'd politely decline to continue the project on teh grounds
that it is incresing difficult and costly for you to operate with such

Thank you Ross. I have started e-mails to them but ended up never

Hi all,
I was wondering if this looks any better?
http://www.starqualitydesigns.com/Moodus/index.htm Also, I notice that
in IE, the background doesn't stay fixed and when you scroll down, the
blue appears. It works in FF. Any help would be much appreciated.

If you have to use the photo one possibility is making it smaller,
add an oval shape around it of a solid

That's a great idea Deb. Where would the text go though?
Well, if you make the photo considerably smaller (like about half
it's current size) then you'd have room for text next to it or you
could put the text under it depending upon how much text there
is.
Yes. Thank you. I guess I am just so stressed from looking at this site
and dealing with these people that I can't think straight anymore.

Suggestion then would be to take a break from it. That's what I do
and it generally helps.
