I am working with weewx since over 2 years and like it very much.

I can not see where the error comes from but surely something is not OK.

Thomas,
Thanks for the suggestions, I'll try that . The version I use is
actually 0.18rc5 and I thought that was the latest.
I'll try your suggestion of r

Glenn,
Tanks for your reply.
The most remarkable thing happened. I was running weewxd and did a
/etc/init.d/weewx status and it showed a lot of old starts but not the
running weewxd.
Next I killed weewxd and the started the stansard way:
joep@kangoo:~ $ sudo kill -9 2303
I have since a few weeks an annoying problem. I cannot start weewx
anymore with the startup script, only by starting manual.
So sudo service weewx start doesn't work but sudo /home/weewx/bin/weewxd
/home/weewx/weewx.conf works.
sudo service weewx start doesn't give an error but does not start

Hi,
Your station may have corrupt memory. Try the steps under the section 'Corrupt

Hi Gary
Thanks for your advice which I read yesterday midnight.

Joep,
The dumped data is dumped to archive - you may get a lot of duplicate primary
key errors, they can safely be ignored as they are the result of logger records
being dumped that are already in the archive. Refer to the --dump command

I upgrade yesterday finally to version 4.1.1 coming from 3.8.2 and ended
in total disaster. Weewx doesn't work anymore (after > 5 years working

I have been a long time away as I had A: other interests/problems to
solve and B weewx works still without problems. However I'm still
working with version 4.1.1 and I think it's becoming time to upgrade to
1.5. However there is a problem. When I try to upgrade using apt I get
the following

operating system are you using? Here are a few options:
1. Upgrade to Debian 10;
2. Or, use Python 2;
3. Or, install using
pip:
pip3 install cheetah3
The last is probably the best solution.
