Thanks for the description but it is almost always best to provide a raw
log extract rather than just a few lines, it often gives context. The restx
code provides differing levels of debug info depending on the debug value
in weewx.conf. I suggest you edit weewx.conf, set debug=3, save

I have been using weewx for almost a year now with few issues. Publishing
has always worked for WU, WOW, PWS, CWOP, AWEKAS, & WeatherCloud. All of a

On v3.7.1 connected to WMR300.
When reading data from the station log (on start up), wind speed values are
much closer to gust speed values that on normal operation.
Could there be some kind of error reading/calculating wind speed on start
up?
