Hi folks
Have a new install 4.2.10 which was connected to a Davis Vue via a Meteopi
ethernet. Managed to get the system working although the link have never
been wonderful. Yesterday morning the link stopped working completely.
On restart Weewx tries to connect and fails.
This is the output:
For 4.2.10 read 4.10.2. Oops.

Hi
Are post to this group moderated or am I on probationary moderation? I am
not seeing any of my posts regarding the new Wittboy and the potential
driver here?
Thanks

Yes, I noted that. Once I finished with the works I had ongoing with Web

Is there a way to increase the update speed of the RSS feed? I would like
to make it update every 60 seconds.
I have looked at the Wiki but nothing obvious comes up, indeed google was
pointless as well!
I will send a reply to the DB post at the weekend, got a device 7B error I
am looking
Disregard. I have changed the timing of all reports.

Hi
Just seen on another group a timelapse from a webcam with the weather data
embedded into the video.
Does anyone know how to do this and is there a "how-to"? I currently gather
images every 30 seconds from my webcam and create a timelapse each night
for upload to my web page.
It seems like
Hi
I am currently working with Dave of the weewx-wdc skin fame create a sensor
stats page for the skin.
Dave has a copy of my db to play with however he has noticed that the
sensor values are not being recorded frequently. He notes that the values
were recorded for a few days in January and
I have finally got XTides working and getting results on my site. The tide
heights are showing in feet however I would prefer them in Meters.
I have taken a look around under the bonnet but cannot see how to change
this. Any thoughts?
I am using the weewx-wdc skin and v4.10.2.
Thanks
Jon

Hi Gary
Sorry for the delay, other domestic "priorities" got in the way!
Attached are the files which I hope will help. Dave has now released the
v3.2.0 of the weewx-wdc skin which has the sensors page. Currently it is
not displaying any data. I suspect this is part of the bigger issue.
Hi Folks
Just been gifted a Vaisala WTX536 which will now become my goto device for
my weather station. I have a WS90 Wittboy with a separate rain gauge and
Temperature sensor. I also have a Davis Vue which seems to be missing the
rain side of things
So to the min part of the post, a

Hi!
I suspect that this will come across as rather impertinent but when will
the DivumWX template be ready for release or at least Beta test?
It has shown as in closed Alpha for some time now with no obvious changes
in the code being made.
For those who do not know, check out
Indeed it was user error.
I followed the commands in the apt directory and all appears well.
Sorry folks.

Hi Folks
Pretty sure this is "user error" however after following the install notes:
I guess the clue is "buster", Deb 12 is "bookworm". I did change in the apy
config file but that did not work...

Looking at integrating the sensor above into my Weewx setup.
The problem is how! As I do not (as in cannot ) code, even to save myself,
I am unsure how to do this.
Please ignore this message. I have had to rebuild my mailserver and I am
testing why I am not seeing much from groups...

Hi folks
It is time for the silly question to be asked.
I have a Vaisala WXT536 which is well supported under Weather Display
whereas the support is limited here under weewx. Not a criticism given it
is such a unique high value device which will have limited appeal.
Is there a way of taking

Hi Ben
I was sneaky, I moved the weewx directories to the NAS and then created the
symbolic link in the place of it. I am lucky in that I have a production
system on 4.10.0 whilst I build my 5.0.2 system. It is really important to
get the permissions right otherwise it will be a disaster...!
I am doing something similar using my NAS.
I have mounted the NAS and then created symbolic links to the appropriately
named folders or directories on the NAS. When mounting the NAS, I needed to
make sure that the permissions were correct for weewx which was eventually
quite simple to achieve.
OK so no one is willing to admit trying this before!
As I am no coder and do not have time nor the intelligence to write my own
code, I wondered yesterday whether AI could help...!
The result is now in my github but does not work and frankly even with
debug set to one, I cannot see why it does
