In my opinion it should be just the other way round: When a flag is set for *all* edits to that page, then show it for the combined entry. There is one patch (https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/8937) that would fix at least one potential problem, and another (https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/8728/) that should fix another one. If there are still issues, we should open a different bug, but file exists, error happens is now a smooth operation, so I'm going to close this one. Blocking previously deleted files by protection (which is used on Commons, Erik informs me) is supported, though I forget how well (I believe I've worked on it, I can't find the patch), and was-deleted warnings (for filenames) are now totally ignored (https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/8728/), and though duplicate-archive errors are still a menace to society, there is work being done on bug 30625. I don't think this is a relevant bug any longer, since the initial problem is now solved and the tangential problems all have patches in the tubes and/or their own bugs. The last bit of it is some i18n work, because there needs to be proper representation of the date and time. So, I'm asking the i18n people what to do, since there doesn't appear to be an obvious solution. Stay tuned. Note that the date selector on that field will overwrite the value, and does not include time, so if you mess with it, you'll lose the time value. These are the links that you get when you click on the question mark icon in Option 1 -- or on 'What's this?' in Option 6 -- then click on 'Learn more' in the flyout panel. (This also relates to the Help button at the top of the feedback page, which should function in the same way.) Also, please check that all links work as intended on the Option 6 form (which I haven't been able to test on prototype lately -- could we have a URL for that form on prototype, so we can test it directly?), as well as on the Help link at the top of the feedback page. Oliver and I will be fleshing out these help/FAQ pages in coming days, but wanted to make sure that we have a general framework in place right away, now that we are making the feedback page more visible. Also note that we will no longer be linking to a general FAQ/help page (now at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Article_Feedback_Tool/Version_5/Help), but use the 4 pages above for all help-related links. In coming days, we will create shorter URLs for these 4 pages (removing the 'Feedback_page_' prefix, since these pages will now be about both feedback forms and feedback pages). At that point, we will want to update these new URLs in code.
