akosiaris added a comment. The deeper reason behind most of this mess is the probably the uniqueness of the `test` release. There is no other environment where we have a `test` release currently and thus some of the assumptions made elsewhere to provide functionality don't apply to it.

Jdforrester-WMF added a comment. Yeah, think I've got the fix in T355592: Node 18 versions of the orchestrator image can't dereference from the wiki in production, as it defaults localhost to IPv6 :: rather than IPv4 127.0.0.1 for my own service.
