On Saturday, June 22, Wikimedia Deutschland held its 29th General Assembly in
Berlin, again in a hybrid format.
Our members elected a new Supervisory Board, which consists of 7 elected
members:

Hi all,
congrats to the elected Board members. It’s great to see people stepping up and
taking responsibility, especially in times where leadership is needed.
Jackie, may I ask for some elaboration on the subject of this thread? You say
„most contended … election“ and I wonder what that means. I
I understand that the community conversation is planned to be conducted for
around the next 6 weeks, it’s the discussion of the summary of that, which is
planned for one week.

yes, it is. The Board is bridging the time between in-person-meetings since
2014 with monthly hangout meetings. We started with a bimonthly rhythm
after Wikimania in Mexico City and decided to have monthly meetings again
at our meeting in November in San Francisco.
