I was curious to know what the other WISPs do when installs are
scheduled and the weather is bad. The problems I see are safety, not
seeing the tower, bitter cold and it's just very uncomfortable to work
in.
Today we have a good foot of snow with ice covering everything - looks
like bubblewrap
Same here in Indiana. Called the clients to reschedule. Everyone but
installers come to office and get caught up on paper work, training, or

Just like the cable and phone company we will contact customer and reschedule
installs if it's deemed unsafe to do an install especially if we know we need
to go up on a roof. But if we can do install without doing that we do business
as usual.

Hazy and cold are not reasons to stay home. Ice and snow can be. If it is
bad enough that you are going to spend hours longer traveling or at jobs
because you have to fight the snow and ice then maybe you should reschedule.
If rescheduling only delays dealing with the issue then don't delay.
Exactly as David states it is how I feel.

How many installers do you have in the field? Do you work with teams of two or
individuals?
We have had nearly a week of below zero weather (wind chill) and have
rescheduled numerous jobs. Our company policy states that when wind chill is
at or below 0, it is up to the installer whether
If we rescheduled every time there was snow or ice, we would never get
anything done. ;)

been 1 single day we did not go out and do installs. It was -30F at the

Glad to see it works for you. I have heard a couple other success stories

Cisco or ImageStream. ImageStream is cheaper and offers more

The main advantage of Imagestream is that you get their tech support people.
When I've had problems that I thought were Imagestream related, they helped
point to the Mikrotik server that wasn't doing something right.
Cisco's support is very good as well but much more expensive than
Imagestream.
