Can someone more influential that I am (e.g. Ben), please ask the folks at
PacWireless to MAKE SURE that the polarity stickers on their backfire
antennas are correctly applied? My customers and I would be eternally

Ohh, well then take a look at the new motorola PTP500,
It can go up to 105 Mbps in a 15 mhz channel, pps processing is over 10k
pps
Multiple units can be synced with gps for spectrum reuse, it would auto
select the cleanest channel to operate in and many other goodies
This are the best backhaul
Biggest disadvantage to the PTP500 is that the surge suppression is
built in unlike all other Moto PTP (formerly Orthogon) models where the
transector or surge arrestor is external. With the 500 model if you
blow the surge suppression you are out a radio until you can get Moto to

How do you know when power is out? How do you know how much run-time
you have left?

There were no noise issues during the test. It has been our finding
that you can't properly emulate a DS1 over fixed wireless if there is
any significant noise.

I don't know anything about OSBridge, but it is to my understanding that
Mikrotik and StarOS both are modified with Mikrotik's N-Streme and whatever
Star calls theirs.

ATT cellular has stopped using any coaxial surge suppressors.
They have found them to be a waste of money.
