Also don't rule out a bad antenna. I have seen my fair share of cheap antennas
sucking water in and draining it out through the connector

There were some antennas years back that sweat inside and moisture came
out the bottom connector.
Some guys drilled weep holes in the bottom of the housing and helped the
problem.
