Though there are six titles,
here's a word you'd love:
ziraleet:
an expression of joy by a group of women in
Aleppo, consisting of the words Lillé, lillé,
lillé repeated as often as possible in one
breath. Also used figuratively for any expression
of joy.
I think there are many such words in German, Dan. Two of my
favorites are Waldeinsamkeit (the feeling of being alone in the
woods) and Schadenfreude (the pleasure one feels at another's
misfortune).
