Hi all,
The design competition closed last week. Those who submitted entries -
thank
you!
Hi all,
I feel incredibly inept for even asking this question, but I can't find
a solution. I have an application that widely uses single quotes for
tag attributes, which is perfectly valid XHTML, eg:
input type='text' name='surname' value='French' /
However, I can't find a way of escaping a
Now I see how few entries came in I'm thinking I should have somehow found the time to enter ... I suppose it would be unbelievably bad form to ask for a time extension would it? (he says in tiny mouse-like voice) ...
Congrats to those who did take make effort to enter.

My site just changed URLs and direction, so my current readership is

Hi,
I had sent a post earlier regarding trouble that I was having with a navbar
in ns 6 mac.
Well i solved the problem.
For the nav bar links i created a decendant selector like this:
#nav a:link {...}
#nav a:hover {...}
But i also had the regular link states specified in the style sheet, like

Hi all...well I cast my vote and was sorry I was unable to enter the comp; myself -
due to travel/work commitments.
I was also surprised that there were only four entries, given the membership of the
group!
Anyhow, (hope you don't mind this comment Russ), I thought your own design was great

My first reaction (after years of PHP scripting) was to escape it with

Where can I find some sort of table that lists the CSS attributes and the

G'day
I've read the comments regarding table-less design and have looked at the
resources given. I agree that it would be ideal to consign tables for
layout to the trash can and have built some sites that way already.
I have experimented for days, but have come to a grinding halt on a project

Off topic really, insofar as it doesn't directly solve your problem...but your post

that at least the nested double quotes can be replaced with a quot;
