now the problem is when the site is loading the drop down menu doesn't work till the whole site is loaded. this only happen in ie so i think it's a problem with the javascript. It looks like the JS handler is called after loading the whole page (onload)... I'm doing it in a bit different way -

Andreas, I did browser checks on PC (IE-6) and Mac (IE5, Safari, Opera, NN7, FF and Mozilla). Sending screen shots -(labeled for browser and platform) off line. I suspect if you adjust your screen size in IE5.5 you will also get the breakdown. The site top menu breaks in ALL of them.
