For version 2.5.4 and rc4 and rc5 on a Win10 system, my WSJTx main window
position is remembered, but the right side is always extended beyond my last
setting - I use the minimum width to fit my setup.
Reducing the “font” setting to Consolas (which I like) 8 from 10 and leaving
decoded text at
I run with “prompt before logging” turned on so have no problem with a log
trigger on RR73 or 73 - the prompt allows me to decide when, if and what, gets
logged when it is triggered.
I can see, however, the disadvantage/s of auto-logging after only a RR73 when
running with the prompt off. A
Too bad WSJTx does not have even more tx adjustment steps, say related to
whatever the needed tx BW of the mode is - maybe 100HZ for FT8. Then, operators
with standard style adjustable tx BW in their rigs could limit their tx to just
a bit more than the tx adjustment step to make a
I have two radios - ANAN-100B/Thetis and Xiegu X6100.
Rig & Fake It split operation both work fine for the ANAN using FlexRadio/ANAN
PowerSDR/Thetis, even when changing tx frequency during tx. Mode set for
Data/PKT. I did not test USB.
Fake It split operation works for the X6100 using Xiegu
I remember once having the same thing happen in v2.5.3, i.e. failure to
answer/xmt a clicked on CQ with a similar two state abbreviation plus callsign
and no grid. I do not remember what the states were, however. At the time, I
just copied the callsign to DX call, clicked generate std msgs and
Just got one of the new X6100’s and wanted to pass on a setup I have found to
operate with WSJTx - v2.5.3, x64 on Win10.
Rig = Xiegu X108G - I read online IC-7000 would work also. it did not work well
for me.
Serial port = com10 - dropdown menu shows 3 new ports when the X6100 is plugged
into
Saw post where Mike gave URL for new “libhamlib.dll”. Copied to the WSJT-x bin
folder to replace older dll and if fixed the ANR switch to off problem I was
seeing. Everything else I have tested in 2.5.2 now seems to work normally.
Using Win10 Home-64.
2.5.2 installed dll create date
The VAC sound problem seems to be gone now - been working for two days fine.
The ANF to off problem is the same - BTW, when I wrote switching, I meant it
goes to off when on transmit and stays there until manually set back to on.
I just switched back to 2.5.1 and the ANF -> off problem does not
Recently noticed that WSJTx GA 2.5.2 Win64 will switch my HPSDR Thetis v2.8.11
ANF button to off when WSJTx does a transmit. I had not seen this on 2.5.1 or
earlier versions of WSJT-x and have been using Thetis 2.8.11 for quite awhile.
I run Win10 Home 64bit with auto updates on. ANF is pretty
I was just about to report this too - I use WSJTx in Windows. Glad the
change/bug has been caught and will be fixed.
FWIW, I have WSJTx opening on an “expanded desktop” (21”) monitor attached to
my (17”) laptop. WSJTx does remember the previous left side positioning, but
not the last set
If you mouse over the Tx message # boxes (in 2.5 anyway), an info message will
appear. For Tx4, it tells you how to set the Tx4 message to either RR73 or RRR.
If you set it for RRR, the auto-sequence will move to Tx5 which has a default
of 73. If you set it for RR73, it will skip Tx5 and go to
