I've found MxLinux to be excellent in this regard. I have gnome, mate,
kde, lxde, xcfe, openbox, and icewm ALL working via x2go on this platform.

I can
I use OpenSUSE Leap and it works great with KDE or XFCE.

Guys,
So what's the best linux distro to run x2go on these days, in terms of
the server, the system you connect to? Which would people recommend?
RHEL 7.x is out, as are probably a bunch of the newer Gnome 3
desktops. Does anything running MATE work well? Running Debian 9.3
with lxde seems to

What happens when you try to run a single application/use Published
Application Mode instead of a full desktop?

We are having trouble getting our X2Go client on Windows to connect to our
Linux server.
The Linux server is running Centos 7.3 and these RPMs:
[root@hre-rsgpul01 admin-rmoye]# rpm -qa |grep -i x2go
x2goserver-xsession-4.0.1.22-2.el7.x86_64
x2goagent-3.5.0.33-4.el7.x86_64
x2goserver-4.0.1.22-2.e
I'm not seeing it in the commandline:
root@arthur:/data/home/vdheuvel/Desktop# cat /proc/$(pidof nxagent)/cmdline

Hello,
Since version 4.1 I'm unable to start a docker inside x2go which uses X.
(Ubuntu 16.04 x64 x2goserver from ppa
In the past, I edited /usr/bin/x2gostartagent and removed the "-nolisten
tcp" part, and edited /etc/x2go/x2goagent.options to remove "-nolisten tcp"
It's not working, even a
