I was trying to find this info a while ago, too. When I replaced the
Solaris Xsun Xserver with XFree86, an xmodmap in our system that used
keycodes was no longer working. The problem was that XFree86 was
translating the scancodes into different keycodes than Xsun was. This
happened with both

I'm having trouble with a crashing X-Server. I can reproduce the crash by
running xine logging out and loggin in again and running xine again. I use
KDE3.1.0 and Mandrake 9.1 and xine-lib-beta12 and xine-ui-0.21. I have a
nvidia card (GeForce 2 MX 400) with nividia driver version

I'm running OS X (10.2.6) on a Pismo Powerbook. I already had installed X11 (from the Apple site) but was advised by our departmental superuser to get XDarwin from SourceForge instead.

I've given up on getting the two ati cards to work and have replaced the AGP
card with a Matrox G450.
I have left the ATI pci card installed in hope of eventually getting a third
monitor to work in Linux.
BTW I tested the three monitor setup in Windows XP and it worked fine after
