Hi!
We are currently developing a Linux kernel patch which restricts access to
/dev/mem based on some kind of access control list. Since our main target is
the X server we wonder how to get the information which memory areas are

Hi folks,

Each image has a fixed dimension of 640*532 of gray levels.
I need to display 30 fps without overloading the processor.
I need also to transform the image using the opengl filter.
I have used XShmtPutImage to display the

Hi,
I'm having trouble getting a 23 Apple HD Cinema display up and running

CRT using a radeon 7500 for the apple, and the onboard graphics chip for
the CRT.
I've posted previously on this after getting nowhere, but i can now

hi,
forgive me if there's an obvious answer to this. i've been looking for

Then please send me /var/log/XFree86.0.log, after an attempt to run

I can't promise I'll be able to resolve this issue (due to remote

Hi,
I have got X4.2.1 running on my gentoo system

However, the system is going to be serving a number
of remote clients, using vnc.
When I'm running X as a local user, truetype fonts
render perfectly.
When I use VNC, I get no truetype fonts at all.

The algorithm that you referred to, is it to do with the rendering

Can i use the record extension to get to know all clients that are connected
