Actually, the only one who'd lose out in this situation is
Herbie... I'd imagine that FZ might find some sweet irony in this...

The GTO's (Girls Together Outrageously) we're the 'groupies' in a sense for
the MOI.
When FZ moved into the original Log Cabin, there were some hippies
squatting there: Carl Franzoni, and a couple of the girls that would become the
GTO's. Frank did not evict them, but rather let them crash
Well I
googled for that and found some really interesting porn but nothing relating to
music.

I'm actually okay with this, for the reasons Dawayne has mentioned - OOP,
and not being sold...
But I do truly appreciate your watching out on this Jim...

Shorten has been replaced by Flac. Hey here’s a little software that’s
just getting started. It’s a front end for shn (shorten) Flac, ape and
mkw. It comes with flac and ape built in and you have to install ape to gain it’s
functionality. It also handles MD5, flac fingerprints, sh

As nice as that sounds Dwayne I don't think we should start down the path of
having vines of officially released and copyrighted CDs. It's very illegal
and shouldn't be tracked on this very public email list. What's done off
list is just between the parties involved however. SOFA?

Okay, I'm going to propose a GTOs vine that includes 2 CDs. One is the
official GTOs release on CD and the 2nd is the 72 minute book reading
from "Miss Pamela" Des Barres on CD from Warner Bros Records. from her
book "I'm With The Band - Confessions of A Groupie"
On that CD, Pamela talks enough

Thanks for that JimIt works fine on that one.For Mac users it's a better program than MacFlac and CarbonShorten as it does the job of both in one.It might be MKW that is the problem for Mac's. I've never tried to use them, never come across any really, most stuff comes in Flac or Shn format.Cris
Jim,
whatever the format..I'd appreciate a copy
