Re: [zbmethod] Re: Group A delegation

2005-12-14 Thread Gilles van den Peereboom

As for me, I'm really pleased with the no-CP cases that already exists. As most of them consists in a combination of 2 sune (or antisune, ..), these are really fast cases.Although I usually donc like to have many cube rotations during an alg so I rewrote some of Chris' T1 cases with U or U' so that I can execute them faster (I think I'm sub-3 on all these T1 cases.)
Gilles.2005/12/14, Doug Lee <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:

I was refering to H1 with no EP.

That is, no CP and no EP.

My current alg sucks. Help me find a better one. I'll have to post
all of my H1 algs this weekend.

For no edge permutation, you said you don't like that case?
F (RUR'U')*3 F'
1.69 (2.39) 2.13 1.78 2.10 1.82 1.68 1.88 1.59 (1.56) 1.77 1.96 =>
1.84 average. For 14 moves, that's 7.6 tps average. It is a very
nice case. :) I started cube in hands, timing with stackmat.

2005-12-13 Thread Doug Lee
Also, due to their difference in symmetry with the T/U category, it
is not yet clear what the numbering should be since, there is no
analog I can see.

There should be only 4 COLL sub-categories within the H-Orientation.
So not the 6 we see in T and U, using the way Chris is
counting/sorthing them.

As a guess, I believe Chris would name those H4, but I leave it up
to him.

Also, Bob, what do you think of my L1 listing?

Ok I've added all the 3D Cubes image (16 cases in total, including the other diagon)The number of the case is not that important, but it's easier for communication. ;-)Gilles.
2005/12/13, Doug Lee <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:

It is H-Orientation with Diagonally swapped corners.

It is a bit uncharted territory... hence it is not yet numbered. I
was waiting for Chris to finish naming those cases. He told me he'd
do this (all of them) over break.

[zbmethod] Re: Group A delegation

2005-12-13 Thread Doug Lee
It is H-Orientation with Diagonally swapped corners.

It is a bit uncharted territory... hence it is not yet numbered. I
was waiting for Chris to finish naming those cases. He told me he'd
do this (all of them) over break.

I'm aware that I haven't listed all the cases yet but these are the only one on which I've worked on at the moment and they still need to be improved.I'll add all the images later tonight so that you can see what's left to do with this case (which H case is it ? H2 or something else ?)
And for the permutation image (not the 3D cube), do you have some sort of program or do you do them yourself in paint or something ?Thanks,Gilles.2005/12/13, Doug Lee <

I have yet to get a reply about my L1 algs, I would especially
appriciate it if DanH would give those a look since he asked about
them a while ago. (Although I'm sure he's busy lately since he
hasn't even posted his L1 list yet, on his site.)

I am going to post my H1 algs next.

In general look though the T-Orientation cases and see if there's a
rather long one that can be beter executed.

If anyone has other no CP algs (that are possiblity better than what
we already have), now is a good time to post them. I would
especially like revised T1 and U1 algs, since those seem to be the
slowest no CP cases..., for me at least.

If any of you want to work on unexplored territory, claim it first
by posting here so that we don't have people working on the
identical thing.
