I usually stick some product codes into froogle and find several results. All of them are unmaintained and various degrees of broken except zd1211rw which is clean and actively developed (but lacks some lesser common features at current point in time). The driver is actively developed -- if you do find problems you'll have 2 active developers reading the reports at the very least. Bear in mind that zd1211rw does not support master mode or ad-hoc mode (i.e. cannot host a network without an AP). For simple "AP client" (managed) mode it works very well. > I'm guessing no one has tested wpa2 or peap authentication > If not I'll gladly let you all know how it works. I believe they have been tested. This stuff is all handled outside the driver. [zd1211-devs] usb wpa_supplicant wpa2 peap on an arm processor
I think I may be asking for too much :-P Ok I have a gumstix wich uses an arm processor I was looking for a usb wireless card that supports wpa_supplicant. I'm hopeful that with this zd1211 driver I will get my wish :-) I plan on connecting to a wpa2 peap with mschapv2 network I currently use madwifi drivers on my laptop but am looking for something to use with my gumstix. This driver will work on an ARM processor correct? This driver works with wpa_supplicant right? I'm guessing no one has tested wpa2 or peap authentication If not I'll gladly let you all know how it works.
