Right now we're thinking about moving to Twisted because some bits of
the application are asynchronous and already written on Twisted. It
simplifies things to only have one daemon running everything.

I managed to reproduce it with Python 2.6.
It turned out to be a bug I introduced with the zope.schema 4.0.0
Python 3 support. I've fixed it in 123340 and released as 4.0.1.

app is *really* hosed you don't get the error logged to the usual
error.log or event.log and are also *unable* to access the UI of the
utility.
