Yes, I used Apache rewrite rules now and it worked . I used Zope mirrot to load balance as I have two zope servers coupled to ZEO. All the clients know primary URL, so whenever clients access that URI , they will be redirected randomly to second zope server which is running on different URI [subdomain] OR will be served by the primary Zope server . BlankIf two diiferent Zope clients are sharing a ZEO storage, then how to adjust siteroot to serve the request coming to individual Zope clients. I am asking because when two Zope servers are up with different URI/subdomain and when I open the ZMI of other Zope client, its siteroot is still pointing to the first Zope client URI. Should I empty the Siteroot value ? Or suggest? I have used mirroring on primary zope client to redirect the request to primary URI to secondary Zope URI . [Zope] Pickle error and Zeo setup
BlankHi, I am trying to update the 'SiteRootBase' in the secure.xml file and do import in zope , but I get error as shown in the screenshot. I did same with secure.zexp and another error : cannot convert long int , i face when i import that file. Why zope2.8.5 does not allow importing secure file after update. I need to change /set the 'SiteRootBase' , is there any other way to achieve that? Secondly I am setting up a ZEO server and I move the data.fs to ZEO storage location. Q1. The data.fs I moved has SiteRootBase set to one of the zeo client URL. I have another zeoclient which runs on a different URL/subdomain. As a result I see the same secure on another zeoclient ZMI, but as the SiteRootBase is set to the primary zeo client, Will this affect the request that will be diverted to the second zeo client ? Q2. What settings I need to do to set up 2 zeo clients as I have one ZEO server running so that requests are properly served. I am using mirroring feature from primary zeo client to divert request to another zeo client randomly. Any help is appreciated in advance. [Zope] How to set MIME types in zope
Forgive my ignorance, I have a question. If I set the 'security' setting in internet options : 'Open files based on content not file extension' to Disable and the try to access a page rendered by python script then I get the following javascript error on the page: This content might not be displayed properly.The file was restricted because the content does'nt match its security information But if I enable the settings in Internet Options--Security, ie 'Open files based on content not file extension' then the above error does not occur There seems a conflict between the extension type set by Zope and the MIME in Internet Explorer as it is seeing it has a script. How can I resolve the error , keeping the property 'Open files based on content not file extension' to Disable ? Do I have to set the MIME types in every file or it could be set at a single location in some zope configuration file? Any help would be appreciated. [Zope] How can i improve performance of website under heavy load in Zope2.6.1
Hi, I am using Zope 2.6.1 I wonder why Zope is default set for handling 4 threads and 7 database connections. I tried inreasing threads to 20 and database connections to 30 by updating z2.py and DB.py, presuming that this will help to improve performance under heavy load. Can anyone suggest what impact will be there if i do this , in Zope 2.6.1 OR Can anyone suggest any other option to improve performance under heavy load in Zope 2.6.1 Any help will be appreciated. for the first time i open a web page .This error vanishes when i reload the page.Does it have anythng to do with 'ON Demand' feature of mxODBCZope DA ar any other reason for read error from Database.Can anyone help me out?RegardsSudesh
