Hi all,

I had tripwire installed from the Redhat 7.1 rpm available at tripwire.org.
Today I ran up2date and it told me that there was a later distribution of the
current version I was using available from Redhat, so I let it go ahead and
upgrade. After the upgrade, my /etc/tripwire directory has disappeared along
with all the config files it contained.

I'm going to go ahead and rebuild the configs by hand (a rather painful
process of tuning it for what is installed on my system), but I was wondering
if anyone could explain to me why this happened or if this is perhaps a bug
with up2date. I was expecting my configs to be renamed to .rpmsave at the
worst.

Todd
