You can use rpm to look at the scripts included in a .rpm file.
Looking at the tripwire.org rpm file:
# rpm -qp --scripts tripwire-2.3-47.i386.rpm
[snip]
postuninstall script (through /bin/sh):
# Delete Tripwire files in bulk where possible, manually where you have
to.
rm -R /etc/tripwire/*
# Delete extra Tripwire directories
rmdir /etc/tripwire
