I just powered up the machine,it goes through the boot process. I have the login prompt in front of me... i type my user name ( not in gnome ) at this point no gui's or anything is started..std prompt in the window I type my name my pw. Everything looks fine. I type su it prompts me for the password i type it hit enter then the warning. At that point nothing is running i havent done anything but login as su. I have nothing mandrake here.. i never seen this before this morning which is the first time i rebooted after the updates yesterday afternoon.
