Dear Michael

my answer was based on the remark that upgrading from 2.4.3-12 to 2.4.9-6
fixed the issue for many guys (including my server and my laptop). However
not for all, if you want the whole story look at:

Dowgrading util-linux is a sure solution, however it leaves open the 
security hole for which the update has been issued.
