I have two questions regarding Solaris and Smartcards: 1) Various peices of smartcard support shows on the S10 5/08 release docs as "might be removed from future releases." Whats the future of Solaris smartcard support?
2) Is there a cheap ($50 or less) smartcard reader known to work with Solaris/X86? Even though I work from home, thanks to the kids, I have to lock my desktop constantly... I've wanted to get a smartcard reader to avoid having to enter password (or pin, i guess in smart terminology) all the time, but I don't want to waste money on a reader that doesn't work.
