There is an interesting article in Network computing magazine (www.nwc.com) that says claims for notebook computer losses were up 70% last year to 2,308,000.

I wonder what the losses are for PDAs like the ones that are growing in medical uses.  I think organizations that have sensitive data on laptops and PDAs need to be more aware of potential issues and not just ignore it.  Are people addressing data encryption for these devices?
