Taking your last question first, you might search through the American
Bamboo Society Web site. They have a message board to post questions.

Okay, wait...here is a pdf file from Franks Supply with prices of
bamboo poles:

http://www.franksupply.com/pdf_files/bamboo_and_rattan.pdf

You'll need Adobe Acrobat to view that file.

As to your first question, I can find several sites selling bamboo
furniture and I can find several sites with furniture plans or
patterns, but finding bamboo furniture patterns is not clicking for me.

There is a paperback book at Amazon.com called:

"Design and Manufacture of Bamboo and Rattan Furniture"

United Nations Pubns; ISBN: 9211063086

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/9211063086/o/qid=959041639/
sr=8-1/ref=aps_sr_b_1_1/102-0686319-8242416

Note: The above URL is actually one continuous line and should be
entered into your browser's address box as one line.

You might enjoy visiting and searching through the following site:

http://www.bamboofurniture.com/

One section is called "Special Designs", but I only see pictures, but
no plans or patterns.

http://www.bamboofurniture.com/recent_work_or_special_designs.htm

At least this site will give you some ideas.

Plantet Bambu is another site you might enjoy visiting:

http://planetbambu.com/

Make use of contact addresses at these sites and write them and ask
where you might obtain plans for furniture projects.
