Ken,
Hostrock can make large differences. Most kimberlites have re-worked
sediments in the throat. Difficult to be absolute because its mainly the
platy mineral that contributes.
cheers

Subject: [SEGMIN]: IP Response of Kimberlites
Dear All:
I have been trying to get a better idea of the IP response of kimberlites. I
have a paper written by Jim McNae where he suggests a quite low value (~3
msec). Any other comments?
Regards
Ken
