I suppose SEMS should send in-dialog requests (including BYE) with authentication parameters negotiated in initial transaction rather than wait for 401\407 response.
Anyway UAS may request an authentication of all requests from UAC (SEMS in your case). P.S.: Just curious, what piece of software are you interconnecting with? It's very uncommon behavior (IMHO). 2011/6/20 Andreas Granig <[email protected]> > Hi guys, > > I'm interconnecting Sems sbc module with an external server, which > requires authentication, which works for INVITE (SEMS is getting a 401 > (not sure why not 407, but whatever) and resends the INVITE with proper > Authorization header). > > However, also the BYE requires authentication, again triggered via 401, > but this time Sems is not resending the BYE with Auth. headers. > > Is there a specific reason for that?
