I would assume that if the AEM bypass detects the higher pressures
associated with water getting suck up the intake.. it would released some
sort of purge to prevent water from going up the intake tube.  Just a
theory... since I don't think many people other than Mike K., AEM and a few
other honchos have seen it in action.
