Well yes of course the GA16 cams will WORK with the standard JWT ECU. The
SR20 s3 cams also work with the standard ECU, but my point is that the
special protocol OPTIMIZES the cams. That is the key word.
Plenty of people are running the JWT S3 cams w/ the standard JWT ECU. But the
s3 protocol gives another 3-4hp, enough in my opinion to get it.
