Well yes of course the GA16 cams will WORK with the standard JWT ECU. The
SR20 s3 cams also work with the standard ECU, but my point is that the
special protocol OPTIMIZES the cams. That is the key word.
Plenty of people are running the JWT S3 cams w/ the standard JWT ECU. But
the s3 protocol gives another 3-4hp, enough in my opinion to get it.

And again, JWT has specified they are designing the new cam profile to
work with the "standard protocol" with the GA16 JWT ecu. They specifically
told me that they will not have a different program for the cams! This may
change with time as they develop different stage cams for the GA16 (if this
happens), but for now they are not planning on changing the ecu paramaters.
