You see, when you live in the suburbs, you have to drive about 30 to 40 miles just to
go to work, one way. That equals about 80 miles a day. Times that by 5 days and 4
weeks, you will get about 1600 miles just gong to work. That does not even take into
account your kids' extra curricular activities, grocery shopping, weekend getaways,
your in-laws in town to watch the opera (not that it ever happened), etc....., you
will rack up 2000 miles easy on your motor. That is about 24,000 miles in a year,
give or take a few. I have a 95 B14 GA16DE which was bought new, now, my baby has
about 127,000 trouble-free miles. The only maintenance I have ever done was to follow
the Nissan's recommended services at the intervals specified religously. At the rate
I drive, I will hit 500,000 miles in about 10 years from now. So, it can be done.

>u guys have somewhat young cars, but i cant figure out the miles you have
>racked up on them. i mean mine is a 93 xe, 95k. on it... so the only thing i
>can assume is that up north u guys drive alot.....however im glad to see that
>someone got 500k out of one... very interesting...
