So did he have to pay the $21,000 to fix it or did toyota fixed it for him?
> Thanx for the compliment. My friend told me that the car would be
finished anywhere from 4-6 weeks depending on how busy they get. So since it
happened a while ago I think they just got 3 more weeks of work left of it.
> My friend and his older brother pretty much did what you did and they told
him it going to be about $21,000(you can get a new celica for that) FREAKIN
mulah to replace the motor. I dunno why really, only conclusion my friend say
is just his Celica had the J-spec motor in it. That thing was so quick man.
His fastest time on the strip was a 14.8sec 1/4 mile with get this
CAI,Eibaich Springs, & Nitto street slicks. Thatz IT! Everyone always
thaought he had nitrious or sumthin, but from what I heard the motor more or
less was burnt to a crisp from broken to cracked everything inside of it. A
total mess. & Since Toyota has had alot of people happend that to them they
say based on individual experiences they will most likely fix it but just
once, thatz it.
