What I did back when I lived in Cali was, talk to friends. If you have
friends that have modified their cars, find out where they went. Maybe they
know someone that for a little money on the side they will pass your visual.
I got lucky in that aspect. I talked to friends and they told me where to
go, I went there, and sure enough, passed with flying colors. So , in my
opinion, if you haven't done so, check with your friends. They can surprise
you sometimes with what they can come up with. If not, then spend the 2 hours
to put your old header on and you shouldn't have a problem. All the other
stuff is good. No CARB needed, for intakes and such.
