I got out my bro's tools this afternoon and toar into my project. I must
say I did damn well for not really knowing exactly what I was doing. I had
just seen my brother change a CV boot before and remembered how he got the
arm loose and figured the rest out. I took the arm and got several
different price quotes. I got anywhere from 44 to 62 for just the ball
joint, and 75, 100, and 130 for the whole lower arm. I got the 75$ through
my mechanic. I was just gunna replace the joint, but he talked me into the
whole arm cus he said the bushings will probably go bad soon as did the ball
joint. He also told me that I should start thinking about doing the other
side soon before it causes me any problems. Every place I went to had to
order the part so the soonest I can get it is in the morning so I will let
you guys ( and girls) know how everything works out.
