1) I think isolated CR is a very rare case, so I'm fine ignoring it until
someone will need it and will take care to make it optional.
2) I think #2 is better than #1, but it is an evolution of #1. #1 is a first
step and it is good. At least having a consistent approach would be a very good
thing. So +1 to #1. (having 6 places dealing with newlines seems conceptually
wrong to me, but I'm not developing mime4j so I won't object coding styles).
