In v2.2, We've starting to refactor the various sections of the config file
into separate files.  Commenting things out does not improve the visual
impact, and a common error is mis-matched <!-- --> pairs.  Just set
enabled="false" for any service you don't want enabled.

Well, not to get stuck on "mechanism", my point really is that IMHO NNTP is not part of a default mailserver config.... use it, don't... ;-)
