Note: POP is on port 110. 25 is the SMTP port. BTW no route to host is not a consequence of what you installed in your pc. No route to host means that your host resolve to an IP that is not routable. try a "traceroute host" first and see if you have connection. Then you can try the port 110 (maybe your host block port 25.. on 110 you will find the POP3).
