I'm still not sure why I can't access Port 25 from remote. I turned off IPTables and my Host claims they do not block any ports. I'm using Fedora 10. But I just switched the port to another one to get around this.
Now that I changed my SMPT port to 4500. I can telnet in just fine. I used the commands you gave me and it asked for authentication. I found the commands to do an auth login and logged in using my username and password converted to base code. It works great so far :) However, I am not sure about one thing. If I have to do an auth login, what would that setting be called in a normal email client? Is it just "SMTP Requires Authentication"? Thanks a lot for the help once again - Kurtis Stefano Bagnara-2 wrote: > > Kurtis Mullins ha scritto: >> Well, I tried switching my port over to 4500.
