I recalled the whole story (these tests were made long ago), and the
problem wasn't probably with the converter but with the fact that
win95/98 was used, and IIRC we faced the typical ominous problem with
win98 and files bigger than a certain limit (4GB?). So I can't say
exactly that the converter was the problem.
