I too am very interested in this question and have not been able to get an
answer
from anyone at IBM after sending several emails etc on the subject
I want VAJ to use the Java2 platform.
I was afraid to ask an off topic question though.

Subject: somewhat off topic: visual age for java
Does anyone know, if visual age for java allows JDK-Switching?
In the FAQ of IBM I found the following:
Will I have to wait to update to the next version of VisualAge for Java to
receive updates to the JDK levels?
No. It is our intent to allow developers to field upgrade the JDKs in the
toolset. Delivery is not yet determined.
I can't get any sense out of it...
Thanks in advance
Torsten
