I agree we have to wait. But since VAJ is a leader in Java IDEs I think
they should at least make a statement about
a release date for such support.
Other IDEs are supporting Java2 such as Inprise's JBuilder3 and there are
others.

Yes, you have to wait. Now we are working with version 1.1.6 and swing
1.0.2 I know that exists a path for jdk 1.1.7 and swing 1.0.3. but it is
all.

We have asked for  java 2 support but they have not yet answered...

You know what it means: Sit down and wait...!!!
