Allesandro,
what are you using as the servlet engine? If it's the servlet JDK then think
about using something else - this is meant for development and testing. I
run servlets both under JRun/IIS and the Java Web Server - both of these
products run as services (as will most, if not all other servlet engines)
and will satisfy your need,
Kevin

Subject: Install Servlet as a Service
Hi you all,
I'm new in this mailing list and don't know if this subject have ever
been posted. I'm using Servlets in my NT Server 4.0 and I'd like to install
it as a service to start it automaticaly on system startup.
To start the servlet from a batch file is boring 'cause I need to be
logged in the NT machine to run the batch, and I'd like to hide that ugly
window the servlet open.
I've tried to find the answer in the servlet home page and others
related sites but nothing 'thil now.
Could someone help me?
Alessandro - MCSE
